Irish By Descent, LLC is an online education company based in the Washington, D.C. area.
We believe that the way people pursue Foreign Birth Registration matters, and that the journey should help them understand their family story, reconnect with their Irish heritage, and develop a lasting connection with Ireland.
Citizenship by descent is often presented as more confusing, intimidating, or inaccessible than it needs to be. Our goal is to replace misinformation and unnecessary complexity with clear, practical education covering the genealogical research, official records, and steps required to submit a complete and accurate application.
Irish By Descent, LLC is not affiliated with the Government of Ireland or any Irish government agency. We are a U.S.-based education company; our materials are for educational purposes only and are not legal advice.
Irish By Descent has been mentioned in coverage by CTV News Atlantic, ABC News Australia, and IrishCentral.
Instagram is our primary social media platform, where our community has grown to more than 11,000 followers.
